Being Inspired By Spring To Paint Acrylic Abstract Floral Paintings
I have been a bit of a journey lately with painting a bit different than usual. I think it the fact that we were building a greenhouse and also just spring coming. So I have been painting several floral pieces but regular florals bore me a bit so I decided to paint a mix of abstract and flowers. I painted one so far on a cradled wooden panel. This piece has got some collage in it and is mixed media. I will see if I can add a link to it in this post. I even made a video about the piece and if you have not seen the video yet it is in the listing. This piece I have made for sale and is available now. It was a journey and an experience to paint this piece. The second floral artwork I have done is acrylic on canvas. I just released the video of me painting it on fb, instagram, and tik tok. I have yet to get it listed for sale. I am currently looking for suggestions on a name. I have been working like crazy and just going along with whatever mood I have been in. I have been accepted into two art shows which will be part of my next blog post. You must bare with me as I am trying to learn to make this blog and video content. I always would much rather be painting so sometimes I forget to keep up. However I have to keep selling my paintings if I want to continue to buy materials to paint so I am trying to let you behind the curtain some so you can see just how I paint and how I think. I have original paintings for sale and I also sell print of my artwork. Most of my artwork is in acrylic but I also sometimes paint in mixed media, watercolors and yes even oils. I recently started to paint in oils again. I will be releasing that piece in the coming weeks. I also have a new closed for repairs painting that I will be releasing next week I hope.
